Sometimes criminals ask a judge for mercy; occasionally them may receive it. When the police officer gives you a warning, instead of a speeding ticket, it is an act of mercy. For all those who follow Jesus, his mercy means they won't be held accountable for all that they have done wrong. Compare and contrast mercy to grace.
