The Book of Leviticus

The book of Leviticus, has little narrative record, containing the rules and regulations, given by God, through Moses, which given the relationship between God and his chosen people.

The prevailing theme and sentiment of Leviticus is succinctly summed up in Leviticus 19:2, "Be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy."

The authorship of Leviticus is attributed to Moses, who presented God's laws to the people of Israel in this book.
